Advanced Profiles back plus arcade merged!

After quite a bit of work we have managed to re introduce profiles back. This enables you to have a profile picture as well as adding additional information. We have also introduced as some of you may have noticed a 'Easy Login' feature. This enables you to login using your Facebook(R) profile as well as other like Windows Live (MSN). This feature is still not fully finished and as such there are some bugs, the main one being that the some of the site does not recognise you as a registered user, however if you do something that the site does let you do like score in games, your account will then work across the whole of the site.

We have also managed to merge the two arcades and now have just one again with all the games from both.

More Games Added

You may have noticed that there is a new menu option available in the main menu, New Online Games. This links to a new arcade containing games new to the site. These games contain adverts whilst the game loads, and can be skipped by clicking 'skip ad' in the top left of the ad window. We soon hope to move all the games back into one arcade but for now the two are totally separate. Your single site login still works however and can be used in both arcades to save high scores. More games will be added soon to supplement the 2000+ originally in the old arcade as well as the 100+ that have been added today.

More Site Updates

We have done some more changes to the site recently, the most obvious being a complete visual redesign, you can now even change text colour using the controls at the top right of the screen! We have also begun to add news to the site. This news is added via N4G, a gaming news site, there is a lot of content there to have a look at so why not check it out by clicking "News" on the left, you can then also view news by a specific console by clicking the links from the News Menu.

We have also re-organised the whole of the games section so there are not so many categories after user feedback to change this.

Changes and Fixes to the Site

We have recently done some underlying fixes and tweaks to the site so fix some major issuses with logging in. It should now work fine, however we have had to remove the advanced user profiles to fix this. We are working to bring this back however this cannnot be confirmed. If you have not registed with us yet there is not a better time, registering is quick and easy and has many benefits for example competitons. Just click on the register link on the bootm left to begin!
